3 Things To Help Save Our Planet --Happy Earth Day!

As we continue to connect in new ways, it is obvious we must also reconnect with Earth. Allow this time at home to help you analyze actions you can partake in to save our planet.

Here are my top 3, small, but very powerful; important things you can do transform, and stop the environmental damage we’re causing planet Earth.

1. Plant a tree : Tree-planting is the process of transplanting tree seedlings, generally for forestry, land reclamation, or landscaping purpose. It differs from the transplantation of larger trees in arboriculture, and from the lower cost but slower and less reliable distribution of tree seeds.

Trees contribute to their environment over long periods of time by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe.

2. Conserve water: Water conservation includes all the policies, strategies and activities to sustainably manage the natural resource of fresh water, to protect the hydrosphere, and to meet the current and future human demand. Population, household size and growth and affluence all affect how much water is used. Factors such as climate change have increased pressures on natural water resources especially in manufacturing and agricultural irrigation.

Many countries have already implemented policies aimed at water conservation, with much success.

3. Reduce, reuse, and recycle. Cut down on waste: Recycling can prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, thereby reducing: energy usage, air pollution (from incineration), and water pollution (from landfilling).

We depend on Earth so we better begin taking good care of it. What are you doing to help save our planet?

Thank you for loving Mother Nature.
